Still going through a ring phase, but this time I wanted to travel back in my mind to my teenage years. When I was a teenager I loved wearing jewelry made of sterling silver and turquoise. Who doesn't love wearing turquoise, it never goes out of style, at least for me. There was a jewelry store in my town that sold mostly this kind of jewelry and I would always love going in there to look at the jewelry and dream about buying it all. Before I was old enough to have a real job, I did many odd jobs to save up some money to buy a bracelet with a nice piece of turquoise, and I still have it today. Unfortunately I was told that the store is not there anymore, at least I still have my fond memories. The lady who worked there was very nice and always let me try the jewelry on even though she knew I probably couldn't afford anything in the store, I was just a kid then.
Back in those days, I would of never imagined that one day I would be able to make my own turquoise jewelry. So, to get back to one of my old favorites, I bought some stones and made this lovely ring with a little hollow form on the side.
