Once again I have been absent for too long but there have been some big changes in my life. For personal reasons I had to move back to the the United States, therefore I am back on the Cape with my family. This past month has been a whirlwind of packing personal belongings, tools, and most importantly preparing my kiki for the long flight home. I am sure all the pet lovers out there will understand I could not leave her behind. I needed to get her passport ready, all her vaccinations up to date and her microchip. I purchased a soft carrier for the flight and for two weeks I would put toys and little chicken treats in it for her so she would learn to feel safe in the carrier. She eventually started going in and playing inside the carrier. Of course she was with me for the entire 10 hours flight and a real trooper.
Here is kiki getting to know my sisters cat Lucky. We are taking the intoduction slowly, she stays in the bedroom basement with me until she feels comfortable with her new surroundings. Lucky however found out there is a new cat and comes to visit her at the window. Hopefully when they finally meet face to face things will go smoothly.
I will be working out of my mothers studio which is always great because she has way more cool tools than I ever did.
I am slowly getting back into the creative groove again, I also have a two day art show next weekend to help push me back into the creative mode. Have been stocking up on my bangles for the fair and some new pieces too. Can't wait to set the stones in the rings, more photos to follow........
